Volcano and Its Tuff

  

This is an inactive stratovolcano (Hasan Dağı) in Turkey and its tuff. This volcano’s last eruption was in 7500 BC. Volcanism of this mountain had contribution in formation of the UNESCO World Heritage Site Cappadocia.

I visitied Cappadocia about a year ago. Cappadocia is individual and tremendous geological topic about to write about. Maybe another time…
